A long customer-orientated tradition makes the Company capable of providing refining methods that make fabrics competitive with those of its European competitors. The Company owes its leading position in the sector to the following factors:
The Company does not compete with the cheap low quality products imported on a mass scale from Third world countries. It does compete with the quality and new trends of the European countries. Quality control is conducted throughout the various stages of refinement, as well as at the final product. In this way, the Company successfully maintains quality control on a continuous basis thus satisfying the needs of its customers. The Company's industrial facilities are situated on 36,500 m2 fields and take up 13,900 m2. After the completion of the new facilities, yearly production comes to around 13,000,000 m of fabric proportional with the product categories that will be refined. The Company specializes in household equipment; table clothes, bed sheets, towels, bed covers as well as clothing items and fashions for men's, women's, children's, work garments. It is also one of the biggest suppliers of clothing to the Greek Armed Forces. Its activity mainly concerns the production, sale, dyeing and processing of fabrics. At the dyeing-finishing stage the fabric is given its color, style and character, in other words the final appearance tailored to satisfy the customer's needs. This is achieved with the use of specialized mechanical equipment in combination with highly trained personnel. Mechanical engineers, chemists and the rest of the Company's technical staff use the latest generation equipped chemical factory to create new dyeing and finishing formulas. New products and methods of processing are developed and explored, so that the Company has the capability to follow the demands of fashion and to compete with the big European firms, in quality and price. Finally, environmental protection being a prerequisite, the Company possesses modern biological cleaning and waste processing facilities. This provides the Company with a major advantage, because the problem of environmental protection is one of the most important and difficult ones European textile manufacturers have to deal with. The Company's use of natural gas does not only save energy, but also produces negligible amounts of exhaust gases into the environment.
